Aalund – a Scandinavian market research institute

Aalund was originally a Danish company but today we see all of Scandinavia as our home market. Evidence of this fact is that increasing numbers of our co-workers come from Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Our Danish customers are serviced from our offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen. The Norwegian market is serviced from our office in Trondhjem, and led by Market Manager Gudbrand Gråbak.

In charge of the Swedish market is Markus Sjöholm who is based at the Copenhagen office while activities in Finland are managed by Ted Wallin.

Scandinavian Market Surveys
The majority of almost 80,000 telephone interviews carried out by the Aalund Research Centre in Aarhus are carried out in Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish. An interview is always carried out by a researcher who is a native speaker of the relevant language.

We work with a large number of important companies in Norway, Sweden and Finland. Combined with our co-workers’ knowhow of local conditions, the interviews supply us with excellent insight into how major companies in Scandinavia act on the market and react to the market-based challenges they encounter.

As we are active in all the Scandinavian countries, we are in a position to offer pan-Scandinavian surveys to customers who operate in all the Scandinavian markets. We combine strict central control with national adaptation and anchorage to ensure that we maintain uniform high quality and concomitant high applicability for the individual country.
