The case in short
The new owners of Wittenborg wending machines for beverage and food had identified problems with the height and number of inventions in the department of development. Despite a large number of employees the invention rate per year was poor.
Aalund was asked to analyse processes and structures in the development department. Finally the owners wanted suggestions on how to increase speed of new product introductions as well as how to reduce costs.
